The classic definition , according to which culture includes all capabilities and habits acquired by a man as a member of society. Every human society has its own particular culture, sociocultural system, which overlaps to some extent with other systems.

The development depends of culture depends upon humans' capacity to learn and to tranmit knowledge to succeding generations.

culture also can be subidvided for study into nonurban culture as compared with modern urban culture and into peasant or tribal societies as distinct from modern industrial society.

BIBLIOTECA FRANCISCANA

La UDLAP y la Provincia Franciscana del Santo Evangelio de México, con el interés de preservar el acervo bibliográfico de la Orden Franciscana y de asignarle un espacio que permita su conservación y estudio, han sumado esfuerzos para crear la Biblioteca Franciscana. Situada en el Portal de Peregrinos del Convento de San Gabriel, en el centro de San Pedro Cholula, esta biblioteca cuenta con más de 24 mil volúmenes de obras publicadas entre los siglos XVI y XIX. Los temas son, principalmente, de religión, teología, filosofía y otros afines, escritos en latín, español antiguo y español. La biblioteca posee una importante colección de obras de consulta (enciclopedias y diccionarios).
